Only one of my several dozen plants has a name. Its name is Babyleaf.
This is because it was the smallest monstera out of my Eight Monstera In A Trenchcoat and it grew what was at first a very tiny leaf, so I took to greeting it with "hello, baby leaf!" This stuck, and the plant is forever called Babyleaf.
Babyleaf is now growing a new baby leaf, and I couldn't be prouder.

It’s here!! I cannot contain my excitement 🪴
After months of waiting (the last leaf was 17th August last year), my giant Monstera has finally popped out a brand new leaf and it’s going to be HUGE.
I’ve been watching that sheath for what feels like forever, and today it finally broke through. Worth the wait? 1000%.
