Started watching the relatively obscure 1980s spy series "Mr Palfrey", and the head of MI6 was played by this actor. I kept thinking she looked awfully familiar but couldn't quite place it.
Looking it up, she's Caroline Blakiston, who around about the same time was filming "Return of the Jedi" in London. It's the original Mon Mothma and playing a very similar character too.

Ja, die #StarWars - Saga bezog sich ja von Anfang an sowohl auf den deutschen #Faschismus wie auch auf den rechten Rand der US-Republikaner. Die #Mandalorianer gelten als erfolgreiche Einbeziehung des #Judentum. #Andor2 schildert sehr gekonnt den Zerfall der demokratischen #Gewaltenteilung. Auch unser #Grundgesetz wird langsam ausgehöhlt. Mir fiel bei der Szene im Senat auf, dass #MonMothma vor ihrer Rede die Symbol-Brosche kurz berührte, als hätte sie eine höhere Bedeutung. Aber vielleicht ist das noch gar nicht geklärt bzw. nicht kanonisch?

Sogar im fiktiven #StarWars - Universum löste die mutige #MonMothma mit dem Anprangern eines #Völkermord im #Senat die #Rebellion aus.
Doch leider war & ist der reale, deutsche #Bundestag nicht so mutig. Er erkannte zwar 2023 den IS-#Genozid am #Ezidentum einstimmig (!) an. Aber daraus folgte bislang nichts, nicht einmal ein Schutz für bereits aufgenommene, rechtstreue Jesidinnen & #Jesiden. Unlike many people, I don't want to see Bix again, especially as a mother. She has a perfect ending already, anything more would lessen that moment.
B2EMO is the one who deserves a resolution. Innocent and without existential control, that abandonment was harsh and unjustified.
I hope tonight's final arc doesn't fall into sentimentality, or fan service of any kind, but continues the tone and quality of its preceding arc.
