One of my Tulsi plants recently faced a spider mite infestation, which I managed to control with repeated neem oil sprays. However, I'm now suspecting a possible mildew issue. Fingers crossed the neem oil will take care of it. I'll definitely be keeping a closer eye on this plant.
This Tulsi plant has been growing from a cutting since February. Despite the mother plant succumbing to transplant shock, this cutting has thrived alongside the money plant.
It was actually my first propagation attempt, and I planted it beside the money plant to provide shade. Ironically, it's now the Tulsi that's providing shade to the money plant.

It's been over a month since I propagated the money plant cuttings in water. The journey began when I pinched back the mother plant to encourage branching, and I ended up with three cuttings from the leftover stems.
One cutting unfortunately succumbed to root rot and fell off. The remaining two have developed roots about 1 cm long, but disappointingly, neither has shown signs of new leaf growth.
The existing leaves have lost their vibrant green color and waxy texture, possibly due to inadequate light. To address this, I've relocated the cuttings to a sunnier windowsill, hoping it will stimulate better growth.
In retrospect, I think splitting the leftover stem into three individual cuttings with one node each might have been a mistake. If I had propagated the cutting as a whole instead of dividing it, I suspect the results might have been better.
On a more positive note, the mother plant has responded wonderfully to the pinching – it's been sprouting new growth left and right, and I'm loving the bushy new look it's taking on.

Another cyanotype of a plant from my garden. We call these money plants or silver dollar plants with their coin shaped translucent seed pods, but you might know them as honesty or Lumaria annua. This one was a volunteer in my garden.

After a very long time I have done something in our #LYV session last day. It's good to be back again.

Hey, people 👋🤓 Anybody know if this self-watering setup is suitable for ALL* types of #plants, including those that don't require daily watering -- like #sansevieria, #pothos, #JadePlant, #MoneyPlant?
