Here's the thing: trading services and products is not exclusively the domain of #capitalism. Trading and the arts have existed for as long as society has.
What I want to see if that platforms like #Pixelfed and #PeerTube can in some way become monetizable by the user, if only via a Patreon integration or some form of direct payment option that can officially share revenue between the parts.

I can see some benefit from having an app track your brushing habits. What's hard to fathom is why it also needs to be on the internet and not just communicate with, say, your phone.
The answer, no doubt, is because it's easier to #monetize if it's actually connected to company servers somewhere. #enshittification in action. -
