(Eine Nacht am Wochenrand, ein unregelmäßiges Gewirke, fadenscheinig und rauh auf Körper und Seele. Und dann Montag. Zurückwechseln zum Geschäftstakt. In der Schublade nach den Fäden suchen, die es heute zu fassen gilt, ohne dabei alle anderen heillos zu verknoten. Noch wohnt die Dunkelheit im Raum zwischen den Häusern, übertönen Küchenklänge alle Stille, ist Zeit vor dem ersten Kaffee, schwunglos, richtungssuchend, kühl. There is something about having Monday off that is good but not fully satisfying. It's like, fine, we skipped Monday, but then Tuesday just becomes the Monday.

Starting the work week on Wednesday, though? That's a different story. The inherent Monday-ness is somehow over-ridden by how far into the week we are.
