#monaapp — Public Fediverse posts

I just found a bug either in #Mastodon or #MonaApp itself… the service doesn't accept text that is strikethrough, you can put the text into the app, the app and the service accept it, but drop the word completely. I find that amusing. I don't really care to file any sort of bug report, I honestly don't believe it's important enough for that sort of treatment, but I find it very funny.

Hallo zusammen, gibt es im fediverse einen Nachrichtenüberblick (oder mehrere)?

(Alternative zu GoogleNews etc.)

Ich kann in der App die ich nutze (Mona) den Punkt Nachrichten auswählen, der enthält aber wenige & komische Beiträge.

Ich weiß, dass ich manuell allen Medien folgen kann, ich suche eher eine Quelle, die mir einen Überblick gibt, was an Schlagzeilen und Themen existiert.

Habt ihr Tipps für mich? Wie macht ihr das?

Ugh, I'm about sick of #MonaApp deciding that just because I haven't looked at notifications for a certain account that it should turn them off for me. No, not so much! Good thing there could soon be better options.

Anyone else running into this in Mona on iPhone?

Whenever I try to reply to a post, the keyboard randomly disappears. The same thing happens while dictating a reply—it’ll just stop out of nowhere. Braille Screen Input is affected too, making it really frustrating to type. I believe I’ve also seen it happen when creating new posts.

I’m using VoiceOver, so this makes replying and posting pretty unreliable. Curious if anyone else is seeing this or if there’s a workaround.

⁃ In letzter Zeit sehe ab und zu den „weitere Beiträge laden“ was eine „Lücke“ in meiner Timeline anzeigen soll
⁃ Ich tippe dann drauf um die fehlenden Beiträgezu laden - das hat früher auch funktioniert
⁃ Seit ein paar Wochen nicht mehr. Diese Zeile verschwindet aber es kommen keine Beiträge stattdessen - als wäre da keine Lücke gewesen
Gibt es keine Lücke und der Button ist falsch? Oder wird nix geladen aber da ist eine Lücke? 🤔

Ich weiß nicht wie lange schon, aber irgendwie ist bei #mona die Kontoverwaltung kaputt, egal ob iOS oder Mac. #monaapp @MonaApp

vielleicht könnt ihr mir aus eurer Erfahrung praktische Tipps zur #monaapp weitergeben.

Ich hab mich soweit eingelebt, stehe aber aktuell vor der Herausforderung nicht den Überblick zu verlieren. Es interessiert mich sehr wie sich andere da organisieren.

Konkret: Ich möchte z.B. auch Nachricht der Zeit, der Tagesschau…verfolgen können. (1/2)

多分新しいバージョンからだと思うけど、ブースト・お気に入りを押す時に長押しすると、登録してるアカのどれでブースト・お気に入りするか変更できるようになってる。めっちゃいいわぁMona :blobmiou:

投稿だけは前からこれあった。
今開いてるアカから切り替える事なく、別のアカで投稿するという事。
何気にアカを切り替えるの1秒ほど時間がかかるし、書き始めて(アカ違え)って気づいたりしてね

@bertapetra Bin seit längerem mit #MonaApp zufrieden. Lohnt sich aber, etwas Zeit in den Settings zu verbringen - UI und UX lässt sich recht weitreichend anpassen :)

@MonaApp Anyone else using the Mona app running into this?

On the latest version (and this was also happening for me back on version 6), I’ll be typing—either with the standard iOS keyboard or Braille Screen Input—and the keyboard just randomly disappears. Then I have to go back, find the text field again, double tap, reposition my cursor… and sometimes it just drops the keyboard again. Rinse and repeat.

This makes it really tough to consistently write posts or replies, especially using VoiceOver.

Would love to see this fixed—Mona is great otherwise.

@joergi @apps @Tusky @IceCubesApp @Mastodon @FediTips With #MonaApp by @MonaApp you can „explore other communities“ - there you can select other instances to browse there public timeline- as far as I understand this - haven’t used it yet.
