    I've started extracting the stats on Molnupiravir and Paxlovid prescribing for Residential Aged Care facilities in Australia.

    It reveals that Paxlovid is only being prescribed for around 10-15% of Resident cases. Most cases are receiving Molnupiravir.

Selten komme es zu einer spontanen Veränderung des harmlosen Virus, und die Katze erkranke an FIP. Auf erste unspezifische Symptome wie Appetitlosigkeit und Fieber folgen der Fachtierärztin zufolge dann Flüssigkeitsansammlungen etwa in Bauch- und Brusthöhle sowie teils auch neurologische Symptome und Augenprobleme.     ... as did many others around the same time. #Merck had relevant #molnupiravir data (e.g. BAM or VCF files) but simply didn't make them available. Thus, it's taken awhile for sufficient data to be collected in the real world. Bravo to Sanderson et al. for doing so!

  8. Some interpret concerns about #molnupiravir to be that it imposes selection, just like other drugs.

    The real issue is that it’s a mutagen: it increases the initial rate of viral mutations, even before selection takes place. Thus it may speed the generation of new mutation combos. nature.com/articles/d41586-023
