“Mokili talks about a world that is moving so much that it risks turning upside down at any moment,” says the group. It’s a song that we used to play live, but we never had the opportunity to record it in the studio. It’s the last track recorded during the sessions for our new album and it became the first single, so it’s really fresh! It has obvious influences from #Kinshasa, but also from kwaito [South African house] and music from the 1990s.”
