"Milano" è una composizione anomala, con un tema privo di tensioni, costruito quasi per intero sulla scala di Do Maggiore. John Lewis voleva mescolare improvvisazione e parti scritte, il risultato è sicuramente affascinante.

A little MJQ earlier this morning. Before I swapped in a new stylus. The second track on the B side “Home” has an awesome groove. Reminds me of Lee Morgan’s Sidewinder. And Bag’s Groove as the final track with the back and forth left and right channel between the piano and vibraphone is a crowd pleaser.
