I'm not against dropping millions of dollars on a game studio for their next game.
I'm against of doing so for something generic, something for a saturated market.
Execs are not gamers, that why the fail. They can't understand that #Fortnite, #Roblox, #COD, #Minecraft, #GTA, #LoL, #CSGO, won't be replaced for their next game. They already exist.
The failure is not doing something different. Look at #Repo and #Peak, ffs.

Frakking kids these days... I don't blame them though. Steam conditioned everyone. Even Linux users and programmers. See how many open source games are on Steam right now... sad times to think that you need Steam, because otherwise people won't play your games...
