so not sure if you guys now but i want to get into the model train/model railroading world even as a blind person, but i just have one thing to say. okay, this is very strange. Why would a multi million dollar model train manufacturer like MTH electric trains use hex headers and raw audio blocks for their .mth files? And why are they still freely available? That boggles me, very much so. Even in their modern #Protosound3 locomotives they have this, hex headers and raw audio blocks, even the hex headers specify where it loops! I thought they'd use encription by now! #ModelTrains #ModelRailroading #MTHElectricTrains

The Electrofrog from PECO causes confusion in DCC #modelrailroading
due to its power routing.But, those obstacles can be easily overcome.

Equal time for NCE's Cab Bus:
NCE developed their Cab Bus, which is a serial, polled network.
The Cab Bus connects Cabs (throttles) to the command station, while the Control Bus is for booster connections.
Cables are easily made, but the Power Cab has a specific cable, designed to carry power.
