Swallet Trail Temporarily Closed at Montezuma Well

The Swallet Spur Trail at Montezuma Well is temporarily closed to protect bats. All other trails on site including the 0.3 mile loop trail along the Well remain open and accessible. The trail at Montezuma Castle remains open.

High Temperatures Expected

Unusually high temperatures are predicted for the parks. Check the weather forecast before your visit and plan accordingly. Always bring plenty of water and electrolytes when traveling and visiting the parks. Montezuma Castle is located at over 3000 ft (914 m) in elevation. You will dehydrate faster at higher (1/2)

Falls das mal jemand braucht: Hier grob vereinfacht das Schema, wie ich die Verkabelung bei mir in eine Busverbindung geändert habe. In den anderen beiden Zimmern brauch ich ohnehin kein Ethernet, anderenfalls würde das etwas anders aussehen.

Zuvor unter #MoCA war das sinngemäß genau gleich, nur halt mit passenden Breitbanddosen (+Terminierung an den Enden).

Mein vorläufiger Zwischenstand zum Thema Kabel-Ethernet:

* Giga Copper G4204C (G.hn Wave2) haben vor zwei Jahren keine vernünftige Verbindung über die Koax-Kabel hier zustande gebracht. Hatte ich dann zurückgeschickt.

* Seitdem war Hirschmann INCA 1G (MoCA 2.0 bonded) im Einsatz, lief meistens stabil. Umbaubedingt wollte ich eine weitere Dose drüber nutzen - Fehlanzeige. Paketverluste und Bandbreiteneinbrüche.

Wenn das #WLAN nicht die gewünschte Reichweite hat, werden oft #Repeater / #Meshing oder #PLC genutzt. Aber oft genug ist das leider keine ausreichende Lösung.

Falls ihr ein vorhandenes #Koax-Kabel habt: Das lässt sich mittels #MoCA-Adaptern für Gigabit-LAN verwenden.

Thanks to my new #Plugable 2.5G #USBC adapters! Also bought 2.5Gbps #Asustor 5 Port switches to hook the major things together (#Synology, #iMac, #M1 #MBP13") and connected them to far points in the house using #ScreenBeam (#ActionTec sister company) #Bonded #MoCA 2.5 #Network #Adapters.

This is rock-solid and I would recommend the upgrade to any people wanting to upgrade #ethernet!
