With 2,448 participating towns and cities, this week is filled with events and is more than symbolic. It shows how rethinking mobility can lead to cleaner air and safer streets.
Only today, on car-free Sunday, does Brussels become the largest car-free zone in Europe.🛹Can’t join it?

Mobility Week has started in cities and towns across Europe. This EU awareness-raising campaign encourages people to walk, cycle, take public transport or choose other forms of clean transport.
As consumer organisations, we see that the green mobility choice is not always the easy choice. To change this, we wrote in 2020 about ten consumer policy levers that can be used to clean up Europe's mobility system: https://www.beuc.eu/tools/consumer-checklist-sustainable-transport-system.
