Why is this not more common?
Traffic lights that turn to red if you are exceeding the limit on local streets.
Quiet roads seem to encourage "I'm not bothering anyone" style driving (less busy roads are seen as an invitation to speed, as we have seen in Telraam data), but are also ones that have increased shared usage by residents.
I gather they've been trialled in the UK and elsewhere, but I've yet to see them.
