I can't play #PackageHero at the moment and am a little annoyed. I took a trip on Friday, so I started a long shift to be finished after I'd gotten to my destination. The problem being that my phone doesn't work where I was headed. I knew this, but didn't think it'd be a problem. Well, it was. When I got back in signal range on the way back on Sunday, I got this message stating that my progress was safe, but it was being reviewed.
I emailed support yesterday morning, and got a reply stating that my progress is safe, but they can't give me an expected date of resolution. This wouldn't be so bad but it's actually stopping me from playing. If I start a shift, it'll just stop and not complete.So this means I can't progress at all, no team contribution, no league placements, I'll likely lose my place in gold and be relegated back to silver.
I was never told not to do this. I've been on every screen of the app. Without being a developer on their team, how would I know something like this would happen. I just assumed that their server would keep track of start and end times, but I guess it's a little more technical than that. What's more, sometimes it can't be helped. Like, what's a person to do if they start a shift, and they travel along a route where their signal is flaky in places and this happens to them?
Yeah, I'm a little miffed.

I’ve been playing Bullet Echo on iOS for several months now. It’s a top-down MOBA shooter with quick and deadly skirmishes, individual games rarely last longer than a couple minutes.
The game’s fun, characters are varied, strategies and tactics abound, but they have to make money somehow, so you have various currencies used to level-up your unlocked characters from crippled to what the game designer intended.
In parallel there’s a league system which pairs you with players (and bots) of a similar skill. Except I recently reached the ultimate league, and I’m now exclusively pitted against players who have spent way more time and/or money on this game, and I simply cannot compete on my moderate skill alone.
Too bad, I was having fun and I did spend some money on it, but now there’s a definite spend gap of potentially several hundred US dollars until I could compete on a closer power level footing. I’m sad I’ll have to put the game down as I was enjoying it.
