I searched for some inspiration as to how to position it so that future stickers would have a good amount of space. But in the process, I accidentally doomscrolled into a Tenth Dentist thread where some guy was arguing that laptop stickers were ridiculous and childish.

As I kept looking at his increasingly unhinged responses, holding up as a sin similar to getting drunk at a funeral or wearing a t-shirt to a wedding, I got the unholy urge to smother all my mortal possessions in stickers, if only on the off chance this guy might see it and know misery.

And I remembered.

I recently joined a gift exchange for rare pairings, and I'm making a "letter" outlining my tastes and why I like various ships to increase the likelihood of being matched with someone.

But in the process of looking for example fanart for my gifter in the Sonic x Miku section of the letter, I came across a piece of fanart based on the "Ora ora get pregnant" meme, where Sonic and Miku have a daughter...and through mpreg, at that. I was delighte — , er, morbidly curious as anyone would be at seeing this, and needed to get to the bottom of it!

And through some sleuthing on Xcancel, I found out that on a Sega parody account, they had made a "family tree" for various Sega characters...and according to their chart, Sonic and Miku had a child.

...She's a pre-existing character with lore and everything, but she looks pretty much exactly how I would envision a SonMiku fankid.

...I think this ship just moved up my priority list a few spots.

I found out that SSBU has a native camera mode! I had seen some pics of Sonic and Zelda interacting in-game at different angles as I scraped the barrel for art of this ship on Deviantart, but I thought it was from using a mod of some kind!

Took a ton of pictures that I may post later, but here are some aesthetically-similar highlights!

And for those unfamiliar with the game, Smash doesn't allow you to pose characters — these were all happy accidents!

But after reading that I got curious about the ship, read an absolute banger of a fanfic...the only other SonZelda fic on AO3...now I'm scraping the barrel on FF.net and filtering for Smash Bros fics on AO3 tagged with both Sonic and Zelda with the hopes that they briefly acknowledge each others' existence. Help?!)

She was leaning forward, ambiguously embracing him(?), his head was tucked under her chin, and she had a tiny bit of blush. Ship? It's probably my imagination.
