Todavía la semana pasada los deportes (eufemismo de "eso") interfirieron en la taquilla, sobre todo el domingo. Grosso modo, esto pasó:
-Dos novedades (una top, como viene siendo la dinámica en estas semanas donde los taquillazos casi se superponen) y dos obras cañís en el ranking.
-Respecto a estas últimas, emociona la supervivencia de Viaje al país de los blancos, un largo pequeño en todos los sentidos que ha calado. Es décima y acumula 617K. Luego está Haciendo amigos, cuya segunda semana la deja en el 7. La comedia producida por Santiago Segura (con tema de Camela) roza el codiciado milloncejo de lereles, sería la décima película estatal en rebasar ese punto.
-Por supuesto la entrada top es La Odisea. Estrenada en 370 cines (ahí es nada), su más de medio millón de entradas vendidas y sus 4.5M metíos en el cascarón de Helena son un puto golpe sobre la mesa, hayan dicho lo que hayan dicho durante todo el proceso los catetos de la internet. Sus 250M presupuestados saludan a sus más de 260M globales superados solo en la semana de su estreno. Nolan es un director evento. Eso sí, llegará El hombre araña.
-Completan el top3 Minions (otro éxito, ya por 360M ganados en el mercado internacional) y sus 720K para el bolsillo del mono, y Vaiana, con 692K guardados en la peluca de The Rock.
-Siguen Toy Story y ya en el 5 cambia el tercio con Obssesion y sus 400K.
-Es entonces cuando entra en juego Posesión infernal: En llamas, directa al 6, con solo 334K. Ya un éxito internacional debido a sus 51M globables, que compensan su presupuesto de 20.
-En el antipodio: se van despidiendo Disclosure Day en el 8 y Backrooms en el 9.
**Por La Odisea y Evil Dead Burn salieron del top10 Michael (actual 12 del top20) y Supergirl (14).

Hablemos de fútbol: los partidos están condicionando la taquilla a la baja.
-Vaiana (con el pelucón de The Rock, ya cultura pop), es uno, sí, pero sus 1.55M dejan un sabor de boca agridulce, como su global de 95M palidece ante un presupuestazo de 250M, pulgar abajo. Minions (y sus buenas críticas) bajan al dos perdiendo lo justo para plantar cara a las cintas Disney y juntan en su segunda semana 1.4M, peli de dineros gordos. Comparen y vean, doñes. En el tres, Toy Story le mete al cerdito casi 900K y lo que él se deje...
En el top de Hollywood del año hay dos largos milmillonarios (aka billonarios), Super Mario 2 y Michael, y está al caer Toy Story. El año pinta mejor que 2025 para las salas.
-Suben a dos las obras domésticas en el ranking. Al 5 llega Haciendo amigos y sus 400K, y No es país para blancos se mantiene en el 9 con 61K. Se echaban en falta varios largos estatales en el top.
-Obsession es una piedra dura de Chipiona y queda cuarta con sus 780K más bonicos que el sol. Justo desde el cuatro acusa una bajá de dos peldaños Disclosure Day, que persiste a trompazos, con un presupuesto de 115M y 229 de recaudación global apunta a no ser rentable...
-Backrooms pierde su íntimo duelo de peli sorpresa de la temporada contra Obsession (y su global de 427M) y lo rubrica ya el en siete con 108K (¿su global?, 376M). De ahí a cruzar el rubicón poca distancia hay.
-En el antipodio: Supergirl es octava tras tres semanas en taquilla, y sus rayos apuntan al vacío: a pérdidas. Michael, un hitazo del año, en el diez, pide pista.
**Por Vaiana y Haciendo amigos salieron del top10 Robin Hood (actual 11 del top20) y Akira (16).

This was a cute watch! I think the first one was more memorable, but I like where this franchise is going. Those last couple of scenes in Moana 2 in particular were really good.
