Ich hatte neulich das Glück einen gebrauchten MNT Reform Laptop ergattern zu können. Das Gerät ist zwar recht teuer und hat ein paar Ecken und Kanten, aber funktioniert ziemlich gut. @mntmn i have to buy a #laptop. i have to make money with my work :( want do this with #floss design. My question is, has the #mntreform or next enough power? I use programs like #gimp, webdesign, #blender, videoediting #kdenlive (no cinema, but social media & peertube). My #thinkPad yoga 260 makes errors by video cutting in #shotcut bc is to weak i think

Plus, that purple is beautiful. I have respect for MNT Research for being one of the few ethically sound companies in Tech.

I was about to complain that my new #Dasung #Paperlike Color (Revolutionary) doesn't work on my #Linux PC, but it turned out to just be a bad HDMI cable. After switching cables it started working fine on my desktop.

Sadly I did not (yet?) manage to get it working on my #MNTReform with the #BananaPi #CM4 SoM. Trying to enable HDMI-out with the screen's native resolution/timings just gives a "failed to set parameters" error from wlr-randr, but HDMI-out on that SoM is known to be problematic.
