To my friends celebrating Dr. King's legacy, I encourage you to actually read and amplify his calls for economic restitution, not just his dream of judging character rather than appearance. Dr. King knew that the latter could not happen without the former.
Those who seek only partial fulfillment, by default also seek the continuation of partial oppression, and partial oppression is truly anything but partial.
