This is a beautiful dish that Neveen cooked on her little wood-fired stove. Take a moment and think about what it would be like to go from cooking in your microwave or stove to cooking every meal from scratch by building a fire from materials like food wrappers and the remnants of your own furniture. If it's made of wood, it'll burn, varnish and all.

We're coming up on the end of the month and Neveen's rent of $200 is due. Donations this month have gone to food, emergency medical care due to coronavirus, an infected wisdom tooth, and regular medications for cancer and thyroid relief. Neveen's family is fully verified by the @butterflyeffect.project on Instagram and by myself.

Hello, I am Gaza family advocate and I wanted to introduce you to Naeem, my close friend Neveen's little one. He's recently gotten through covid and is still healing after having his skull fractured twice in successive bombings. His family struggles without income, have heavy medical bills, and are all malnutritioned. His father has sarcoma cancer. They are a fully verified family. #family #FamineRelief #MutualAidRequest #NeveenAhel #mlarmishfamilies @gaza @palestine
