  3. Been playing umk3 and a few times mk3 ,and now the focus is mk3 second tower with my main issue Shang Tsung 3x fire balls shoots that just feels cheap plus annoying in the same time. (umk3 medium complete) On the other end ,i need to be sneaky ,fast and precise against Shao Kahn.

  4. I finished last night the final tower master 2 in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 with noob saibot ,medium difficulty level. ps: always was very bad at this game ,back in the day.

  5. I bought a #Sovol #SV08 for multiple reasons that are still valid, it arrived yesterday, the ‚build’ was mostly easy, it‘s a fine machine, it’s large, fast and very loud, and I‘m really happy.
But dang, it is not a #prusa in so many ways I didn‘t know my #MK3 was a Prusa!
Still, it‘s amazing how far we got in about 7 years.

  7. Yesterday I was completely frustrated by my Prusa MK3 and decided to retire it. Jammed extruder that I couldn't get open.

Today I needed to clear away the tools I'd used, so I took one more look at it. I unclogged the extruder in a few minutes, put it back together, and printed something.

    MK3 redeemed!

  8. I am having more and more trouble with my #mk3 . I just ordered a #mk4 to restart fresh. Can't wait to have it :)

  9. So the #Prusa #Mk4 5.0.0a4 firmware supports #inputshaping. It built a benchy in just over half of the time (38m) as without input shaping (67m). But the result had significant defects.

    Useful for drafts? Maybe.

I suspect #Octoprint was not a problem before but rather my lack of the 5.0.0 firmware when using a GCO sliced for input shaping.

The #loadcell is a nice feature. The exact problem my #Mk3 was recently encountering (nozzle collision with sheet) should not be possible with the #Mk4!

  10. @koz

The only problem is the lack of input-shaping. But I hope that one it is stable on the #MK4 and an accelerometer can be used for tuning, they will bring it to the #MK3 and #MK3S.

Interesting, I never knew that. Because damn, I flashed some dank firmware to my #Creality #CR6SE.

It might just be to help protect users and almost help to ensure warrenty. But does this also hold for all other #Prusa printers? Is this why fewer users are running #Klipper on #MK3 and #MK4?

  12. Well, I believe that organic tree support in Prusa Slicer is not a panacea. I have no idea how to retrieve them without breaking the 28mm PLA miniature. Any support settings recommandation? Printed with 0.25mm nozzle, 0.07 mm layer height. Resin miniature on the right for comparison. #3dprint #prusaslicer #prusa #mk3

It will be difficult to lose the reputation of the "trustworthy work horse", because printing farms won't easily switch and now people might start selling their #MK3 printers and I don't thinks farms will just switch to #MK4 over night.

But they are getting a lot of flak and hate with these delays.

"What’s more interesting is that the K1 series is equipped with substantial networking, cloud connectivity, and remote control features. It seems that Creality has implemented some form of farm management system where an array of K1s could be running production jobs."

This could be great! Maybe #Creality now feels as if their printers are on par with #Prusa, after the #MK3 outperformed the #Ender3 in #PrintFarm usage.

The #Ender3 just wasn't reliable enough, and if it was used, it had to be heavily modded.

But a new age of print farms has grown with the release of the #Bambulab #X1C. Someone could have a small print farm for their products without any #3dprinting skill and juet plug-and-play their printers.

Creating a commercial print-and-play solution is a great step.

It will be interesting to see if this is a fork of #Octofarm, a multi-printer #Klipper and #Mainsail setup, or something brand new. #Prusa already have their own solutions.

  15. @andy_warb

I feel the #Prusa #MK3 and now the new #MK4 as well as the #XL are focussed on a different target group than the #Bambulab #XC1. But because the entire #3dprinting community would buy either company's machines, this fine line becomes a grey area, so they are directly compared.

The #MK3 and #MK4 will never reach the speeds of the #XC1, with stock parts, and the #XC1 will never reach the reliability of the #Prusa machines.

You can't use a,n #XC1 in a #printfarm, let alone afford 1000 of them, and you can't prototype and test at the speed of the #XC1 with the Prusa machines.

If I had a print farm, I would buy 500 Prusa machines and 1 Bambulab to test on, but I would manufacture with the Prusa machines.
