📰 Fast‑growing Miyawaki Forests Are Transforming Cities Worldwide
🌏 Earth: Dense micro‑forests built from native species are cooling neighborhoods, restoring biodiversity, and reconnecting residents with nature, all within plots as small as a few hundred square meters.
🌳 By planting diverse species at high density, these forests rapidly form layered ecosystems that support pollinators, birds, and soil life, offering a nature‑based solution to urban heat, air pollution, and habitat loss.
🤝 More cities are treating green spaces as ecological infrastructure. Community groups, schools, and municipalities are turning vacant land into living forests, showing how individual and local action can reshape entire urban landscapes.
