I feel like I’ve been doing this a lot recently. Sharing some information on the ol’ bloggie page without giving any details at all.

I am going to do it again… twice.

I had something on my schedule at work for tomorrow. It happened today instead and it went well. It was good news. It made me a little bit happy. It also took some pressure off of my schedule for tomorrow. Good stuff, indeed.

Then I got some really bad news. I am not sharing specifics, partly because I don’t have any specifics to share. Suffice to say things went down outside of work and outside of my home that are really scary and awful and oh shit I really hope they are not accurate. Bad news that has the potential to become terrible really bad news.

So… yeah… I am the very definition of mixed feelings right now. I don’t know whether I’m coming or going or what.

Got two decisions back from journals today.
One paper: Accepted.
Another paper: After 11 months, the journal decided they were never going to be able to find referees and so rejected it without review.

I crunched this weekend and am splat, meaning I don't have spoons to go grocery shopping (it's 2*30min by bus - and hauling a trolley on communal transportation is a nightmare). Unfortunately, since I live in the boondooks only the Luxury Ecological Vegetable Box company delivers to my door.

But thanks to inflation using their service proved to be on the same level as doing a grocery run the normal way - even with their Eggs That Has To Be Made Of Gold For That Price included.

TIL Sweden has a unique collection of artifacts from China, due to a contract between the Swedish archeologist JG Andersson and the Chinese government in the 1920s. He got to keep 50% of the finds he made together with Chinese colleagues. The other 50% was kept by China, but got lost around WWII.

(The hashtag, in case you're wondering, refers to the radio report where I heard about it first. Didn't know _how_ unique the collection is, though.)

Came back from osteo. 4-day break, then gradually adding back distances, starting at 2-3km.

On one hand I'm very grateful it's not worse. On the other I'm pissed I can't run. It will be hard to wait that long.

I'm also super grateful that the races I've committed to are not endangered.

We finished watching #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo series & I have #MixedFeelings on it. I did enjoy the storylines. I wasn't impressed by over the top representations of #autism . It's the 2nd #Korean #StreamingSeries that bothered me on this issue. While I appreciate that #KoreanFilmmakers are trying to be #inclusive by adding #FeatureCharacters on #AutismSpectrum - fell very short on how autistic folks behave daily. It's disturbing.
These film ppl need real autistics as advisors.
