Blackbriar released an EP back in June

Lighter, melodic metal, with Zora Cock's beautiful voice 🎶

One entry to hash them all.

New album from Temperance. I expected some similar to Xandria or Nightwish.

Instead, we have a more power metal-oriented sound, with catchy melodies and the vocalist Chiara showing off a gentle but powerful voice, throwing some well-timed gritty fry vocals here and there.

Downcast Collision released a new videoclip last weekend:

I think this needs more "love" and attention.
I would call it #metalcore but tbh i'm not an expert into that genre

Because I‘ll see them live later this month, I add Cân Bardd to #MittwochMetalMix - atmospheric black metal from Switzerland.

Progressive blackened death metal with amazing atmosphere and songwriting. Quite rare~ 🔥

Let me cook something for #MittwochMetalMix

Here's the recipe:

You take a bit of prog, add some acoustic guitars and percussion, pair it with fine guitar work and heavy riffing and spice it with exceptional vocals

Et voilà, there's a proto heavy metal song for ya 👇

This new single from Contrarian made my mouth salivate. First names that came into my mind as references are Blood Incantation and Ulcerate. A good start, fo me!

I can't wait for the full length!

Last, for today. Something that reunite both the hashtags.

Here, another banger by Triosphere!

If you are looking for pure heavy metal, tinged with power and progressive influences, rich of awesome and exciting riffs, here is where you should search, IMHO!

Plus, I really LOVE Ida Haukland's voice. So energetic, powerful and soaring. A true heavy metal queen!

Maybe the one who can truly reclaim Doro Pesch's legacy.

I'm so happy that Epitaphe released a new album.

And it didn't disappoint. A fresh, intelligent blend of Opeth, Morbid Angel and Evoken.

The "new" Anthrax Album is a banger, but now something different:

Villagers of Ionnina City - Venceremos

https://vicband.bandcamp.com/album/venceremos-2

It's great, that the band is getting more and more reputation over the years.

I think that could count for #MittwochMetalMix even it's more #rock

Just listen to the new DragonForce Song and it's nice, nothing new except with Alissa White-Gluz as "Duo vocalist".

But damn the timestamps at the music video make it a whole lot funnier
