Whenever I make a simple, boneheaded mistake, I have the tendency to beat myself up about it far too much. I try to put things into perspective.
For example, Canadian Col. Lawrence Cosgrave put his name on the wrong line when signing the surrender documents to end World War II, and everyone just made pen-and-ink changes and just rolled with it.

I’ve been a qualified electrician since 2018, today was the first time EVER I’ve drilled through a live cable buried in the wall. (Cable wasn’t in zone in my defence) Spent most of the day chasing the wall repairing that leg of cable and making good on the damage to the wall after. Not fun at all.

Side note: You reckon DeWalts SDS warranty will cover being blown up by drilling live wires?😅 I highly doubt it.
