CURRENT ME: Ugh, I am foggy this Monday morning. I shouldn't have gotten so crazy Saturday night.
21-YEAR-OLD ME: WOOOOO! Still whooping it up!
CURRENT: Too much.

21-YEAR-OLD: So what was the party?
CURRENT: No party. But I stayed up after midnight to watch "Oklahoma."

Sad news out of Buffalo this morning. The bar I wasted away countless college nights dancing to fantastic music until 4am burnt down last night. It’s been decades since I’ve been, but that place held a treasure trove of truly bizarre and hilarious memories. #oldpink #RIPOLDPINK #buffalo #misspentyouth

It's surprising that no live-action production company/producer has taken notice of #PeterFHamilton's #Commonwealth universe/series.
This franchise can be adapted into a movie trilogy, or a TV/web series spanning 5 to 7 seasons with 16‒25 episodes each. This fictional universe that Peter F. Hamilton created tackled countless current social issues, and these were written years ago and still valid to this day.
Not to mention, there were also technological ideas that we started to see a few years after they were introduced in his novels.
Thus, for my #FridayReads and #FictionFriday recommendation, I highly encourage reading these great #spaceopera novels by Peter F. Hamilton.
Start with the #CommonwealthSaga:
1. #PandorasStar (ISBN: 0-330-49331-0)
2. #JudasUnchained (ISBN: 0-330-49353-1)Followed by the #VoidTrilogy (1,200 years after Judas Unchained):
1. #TheDreamingVoid (ISBN: 978-1-4472-7968-6)
2. #TheTemporalVoid (ISBN: 1-4050-8884-2)
3. #TheEvolutionaryVoid (ISBN: 978-1-4050-8895-4)Then #TheChronicleOfTheFallers:
1. #TheAbyssBeyondDreams (ISBN: 978-0345547194)
2. #NightWithoutStars (ISBN: 978-0230769496)There is also #MisspentYouth (ISBN: 0330480227), a prequel (340 years before Pandora's Star).

Some spent their #MisspentYouth on drugs and alcohol. I spent the 90’s in a #catholic #monastery 🤷🏻♂️ I was ordained a #priest shortly before the millennium.
And just to be clear, (if it wasn’t beforehand) I am VERY anti-religion today.

Pour one out for tabletop rpgs, y'all. our #MisspentYouth group has officially died after one session and a cancelled session. I'm already wanting to try to make another group, though. This system is really cool and fun and I want it to happen. Any #ENVtubers free and willing?

***Final 21 hours!!!***
You can rock a rebellion in any setting. From a small town where you fight the church to bring dancing back, to Baltimore in where you fight racism to allow black and white to dance together. You can be teenage space wizards fighting a galactic empire or cadets in a utopian space federation rebelling against the encroaching militarism. Punk is a million things and it's waiting for you.

$372 away from having @RobertBohl back writing for Misspent Youth. Fall In Love, Not In Line is in its last full day on Kickstarter.
Help us get there? Are you a MEE-LEE-OWN-AIR and want to help support an ethical TTRPG company (not an actual oxymoron)?

Misspent Youth is great because you can rock a rebellion in any setting. From the town in Footloose fighting the church to bring dance back to Hairspray's Baltimore where you fight racism allowing black and white to dance together. Teenage space wizards & galactic empires to cadets at utopian space federation vs. militarism. Punk is a million things and your punk self is waiting for you.

"Misspent Youth is unlike any other RPG I’ve ever played.... This is a game that lets us focus on the story, and makes it possible for old guys like me to imagine that we’re still young and fighting every day for something more important than a parking space."
