Each Bible commentary explains one book chapter-by-chapter. These Bible Commentaries are easy to read and understand. They are written in EasyEnglish by #MissionAssist.

#EasyEnglish started in 1994. The first EasyEnglish publication was a commentary on #Psalm 100. In the beginning, each book of the #Bible was printed. Then in 2001 a website was created, so that more people could read the EasyEnglish Bible and the Bible study notes.
We thank God for all of the #MissionAssist volunteers who have been part of the team during the last 30 years. We praise God that EasyEnglish has helped millions of people to read and understand the Bible.

1. No, #MissionAssist does not have any iOS apps. We would need a #volunteer to join our team who has experience of developing and publishing apps for the Apple App Store. Enquiries welcome!

#MissionAssist has launched a new app. It is called "EasyEnglish Bible". The app contains the Old Testament and the New Testament.
It is free of charge and without ads.
The text of the #Bible is in #EasyEnglish. In the app you can choose your language for the menus and settings.

@AlexanderChow Thank you for sharing this report. There are various references to language, including the importance of mother tongue to explain faith and to sing worship.
Do you have insights into Bible reading in mother tongue versus English? Of course, it may be a different choice for personal devotion, groups or church services.
A project to look at that would be great.
At #MissionAssist we've been told the #EasyEnglish #Bible is great for multi-lingual groups with only English in common.

Today on Google Play #MissionAssist has three apps: New Testament, John with audio, Ruth with audio. We have developed an app for the whole EasyEnglish Bible. We are looking for a volunteer to finish and publish it.
The EasyEnglish Bible source is in the Digital Bible Library (#DBL): "an online digital asset and licensing management platform". To have this Bible on their platform a new partner can access the digital files via their DBL Library Card.

You can download the #EasyEnglish New Testament #app from Google Play. Over 14,000 people have installed the app on Android so far. The EasyEnglish #Bible apps are free to download and free to use.

#MissionAssist has a wide range of #volunteer opportunities, with flexible hours, for people who are home-based and wanting to be useful. I will mention that we are a faith-based organisation, so joining us won't suit everyone.

I'm a #volunteer with #MissionAssist, a #charity providing resources and services for #Christian workers around the world. So we are aiming to engage with people who could benefit from our services or partner with us or become a new #virtualVolunteer. No fundraising aims as we are all #volunteering from home so no salaries to pay and no premises to finance.
