  1. Iran has begun using hybrid missiles to significantly reduce costs while maintaining the same level of destructive power.

In the image on the right, an advanced warhead called the Kheyber Shekan can be seen mounted on a cheaper booster called the Hajj Qassem, which is much easier to produce.

In the image on the left, a hypersonic warhead called the Fattah is mounted on a Hajj Qassem booster.

The new hybrid missiles have become the nightmare of US forces, since they don't follow the trajectory of a "normal" ICBM and change direction and targets multiple times during the re-entry, making it hard, close to impossible to intercept.

  2. ABC: Up to 80% of THAAD missiles (190-290 out of 360), more than half of SM-3 missiles (130-250 out of 410), and up to 61% of Patriot missiles (1060-1430 out of 2330) are exhausted.

And they keep denying the facts, blaming Russia, China and anyone else other than Iran for the failure of the US military in Iran.

  3. The First Casualty

They told you Iran's missiles were being swatted from the sky. They told you the Iron Dome was holding, the Patriot batteries were working, US and Israeli air power was surgical and winning. They told you this on the ABC. They told you this on Sky. They were telling you nonsense. MIT Professor Ted Postol — the man who proved the Patriot missile failed in the Gulf War while presidents were claiming a 97 percent success rate — has now established that current intercept rates against Iranian missiles run at a few percent at most. The systems are depleting. The decoys are multiplying. The official story is, in his own carefully chosen word, a fraud. The first casualty of war is truth. But the deeper insight, the one Phillip Knightley identified fifty years ago, is that the lies are not random. They serve purposes. And right now, they are serving purposes that Australians have every right to examine.

  4. People apparently freaked out over a towed radar. Like it has been there for almost 20 years Love the panic without the research. Here is my shots of the Sea-Based X-band radar (SBX-1) from November 2008 using my CoolPix 7900 #MissileDefence #radar #hawaii

  5. According to a report issued by #JINSA (Jewish Institute for National Security of America), 70% of the #AirDefense effort, defending #Israel during the 12-days war, was with #US systems, namely #THAAD and SM-3.

25% of the entire US THAAD stockpile was used while defending Israel.

  6. The good news for NATO is after the latest attacks on Kyiv that a combination of western airdefence assets can prevent almost all missiles/drones from reaching their target. This was not expected, most theories assumed that a massive assault would be impossible to defend against because too many missiles/drones would get through. Apparently not. Financial challenges remain, patriot missiles are extremely expensive.
