  1. @cdarwin certain things trigger incidents of #misophonia and #misokinesia (things like someone eating pasta or chewing gum noisily, or seeing certain patterns or textures or whatever, that cause a seriously strong negative mental/emotional reaction).

For whatever reason, when I watched a video of Zuck wearing those goddamn glasses it triggered a VERY negative reaction for me. Like, in my head I was like "the them off take them off take them off TAKE THISE FSCKING THINS OFF NOW OR I'LL PUNCH YOU". I don't think it was the idea of them being smart glasses because other smart glasses didn't trigger a reaction like that in the past. There is just something about these particular ones, maybe because they are extra thick or something but not sure.

Perhaps this lady had a similar reaction, because no word of a lie if I couldn't avoid looking at this guy I would definitely go up to him and be all like "take them off PLEASE take them off NOW take them off or I WILL TAKE THEM OFF FOR YOU"

  6. So @Taweret has recently tooted about #misophonia which I can very much relate to as someone who also must also contend with triggering sounds fairly regularly. It can be hard to talk about but bringing awareness to this legit affliction is a great thing!

Although it isn't as frequent I also have visual triggers called #misokinesia which are generally omewhat related to the former but not always...mostly certain patterns and motions but it is there.

Recently there have been a lot of pictures and videos of these new #Meta #Raybans and like...the sight of someone wearing these effin' things winds me up...like I want to PUNCH THEM OFF THEIR FACE.

First time was a photo of Zuck wearing them and I just thought it was because I always want to punch that bastard when I see him...but even other people I have seen wearing them make by brain go "take them off TAKE THEM OFF OH GOD TAKE THEM OFF!"

WTF is wrong with me I don't generally have an issue with photos of eye contact or glasses. I know I am a weirdo sorry.
