#doxepin was bad. Made me feel like crap, slowed me down. After 3 weeks just had to stop it.

That pales in comparison to #mirtazapine. It turned me into a drooling incomprehensible unable-to-think zombie. Horrendous. Really really bad on every level.

#venlafaxine is fine, as was #prozac. Amitryp was ugh, Lithium made me ill, Valproate made me huge.

I am day 29 of #Mirtazapine and getting nowhere with it. Today, my GP prescribed Amitriptyline instead. So my question to you, honey, is what regime did you use to phase out Sertraline and phase in Mirt?

I am a little concerned about Serotonin Syndrome as both Mirt and Ami are anti-depressants

I was put on #mirtazapine because of anxiety induced headaches, but after 10 days the headaches are still present. I am worried there may be so something more sinister going on.

You said you had migranes. How long did it take before #mirtazapine became effective?

@MikeFromLFE Hi Mike, I have had very bad headaches, which my GP suggested was tension headaches. I am on my 10th day of 15mg #mirtazapine but the headaches are still present, admittedly reduced. How long was it before you were sorted?

Any advice or ideas would be welcomed.

I'm wondering now if my short spell of feeling really unwell was #migraine .

I've had visual migraine (no headache) occasionally in the past, and it's left me feeling grim. This was similar, but I don't remember any visual weirdness.

Maybe it wasn't the #mirtazapine ?

The new antidepressant I've been given - #mirtazapine - has been 'interesting'.

I took the first 15mg tablet at 8pm on Wednesday. I then spent 17 of the next 24 hours asleep!

The second dose, last night, doesn't seem, yet, to be having quite such a dramatic effect.

I had some crazy dreams last night, and this morning I feel like I've got flu. That's probably due to the withdrawal from #Sertraline.

Thankfully the #grandchildren are being really good for Mrs Mike

Excellent discussion with our GP about the issues I'm having with #Sertraline.
He's agreed to try to stop the retched stuff and has given me #mirtazapine
