I tend to toot live versions, but this one is, well. I like the album version better here, it's a cleaner performance than the live thing from 2007. And we don't talk about the music video, which has been "shortened" 🙄
Anyway, this is one of those songs I absolutely love. It's so quiet, yet intense. I love the storytelling, which feels clear and straightforward, unpretentious. -
