  1. Today we’ve been to #Trieste! We’ve seen the entrance to #Moria (#GrottaGigante), a pleasure of walking 1000 stairs with a kid in my arms, #SanGiusto castle, because it’s always nice to see an old fortress and #Miramare castle, to see how rich were the rich (Habsburgs, to be precise) back then!🤌🏻🤡

  2. Some pictures from a week in #Trieste for a workshop in magnetic fields.

  3. While crowds flock south, #Trieste sits quietly in the north, blending Habsburg buildings with a deep-rooted Mediterranean soul. Sitting in a historic cafe here isn't just a quick pause, it's an hours-long ritual. Watching the waves hit the cliffs below #Miramare Castle offers a quiet escape from the usual tourist trails.

Coincidenze o destino?

  6. What is the cutest Italian railway station and why is it #Miramare? #Bahnzeit Using my #Interrail pass for the nine minute journey to Trieste Centrale because why not, instead of taking a bus for €1.50.

(Have used Interrail for a one-minute journey on the Berlin S-Bahn, too, in the middle of the night, as one does.)
