@wyatt Miraheze is the wiki host at the top of my mind.
One caveat about Miraheze: You need to keep editing your wiki or it'll be deleted. The speedrunning community for the NES game Full Quiet moved its wiki from Wikidot to Miraheze and faced deletion because there weren't any new discoveries for a few months.

This is now going to become a wiki!
I have been approved to host a Miraheze wiki that will contain the content in this thread and more in a way that is intutive, searchable, and editable by fellow fans.
Find it here: https://ffxvdetails.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page
Voting is open for the Miraheze board of directors!

I am being told I like Mega Man too much.
Well! Good news! I'm not alone.
I have just discovered that other people like him enough to have moved the wiki off Wikia.
There's a mirror at Miraheze!
En mi otra cuenta (@RLIBlog ) dije que me gustaría tener herramientas de wiki en el blog y, después de pensarlo, he decidido probar a crear una wiki de #Blender en #Miraheze (así también veo que tal es esta plataforma). #blender3d
At Rainverse Wiki, we do not cite Discord as a source. We are holding a Request for Comment to formalize our existing practice as a policy.

We are currently in the process of drafting a formal policy on (not) citing Discord. This is not actually a new policy: We have been avoiding citing Discord since Rainverse Wiki formed, and we inherited that practice from My Impossible Soulmate Fandom Wiki.
We would appreciate your feedback.

Whenever I see a content warning for "mh," I can't tell whether it's going to be about mental health or @[email protected] .

Update: We are back! That didn't take long. Good job to the @[email protected] team for helping!

Downtime notice:
In response to Miraheze messing with their DNS stuff, I am going to attempt to modify Pandora's Tale Wiki's DNS settings. This will result in downtime for the site. Exactly how much downtime depends on how badly I mess up.

Today is international women's day. It is also the one-year anniversary of Rainverse Wiki escaping from Fandom!
Rain Wiki (as it was originally called) was founded on Fandom in 2016, and actively maintained until 2022. By early 2024, it was completely abandoned until AwesomeGamer moved it to Miraheze and rebranded the site as Rainverse Wiki.
In the past year, Rainverse Wiki has been edited over 25,000 times by 9 users. We have created 1100 new articles, and our pre-existing 700 articles are now of much higher quality.
Let's make this coming year even better.

Today, I am announcing plans for the biggest change to Pandora's Tale Wiki since its founding: I am going to port the wiki away from MediaWiki and convert it to a git repository of text files. This conversion process may not be easy, but it is necessary. If we continue down the current path, I am going to burn out and will not be able to continue maintaining the wiki. I have described the reasons for the change in the article for Project: Texts About Pandora
https://pandorastale.wiki/wiki/Pandora%27s_Tale_Wiki:Texts_About_Pandora#Hosting_availability
(Yes, the name of the article is a pun on the pages "Texts from Pandora" and "Texts from Pandora 2".)

There are still some things I need to determine.
1) First and most significantly, I have to figure out how to convert a MediaWiki instance into a git repository. I've found several scripts which claim to do it, but they all seem to have significant drawbacks in addition to being unmaintained. I would greatly appreciate advice from computer creatures in this regard.
2) Then I have to decide on the text format: Plaintext, gemtext, or markdown? There are ups and downs to each of them, though I'm not as worried since I believe it might be possible to convert between them later.
3) Finally I have to decide on the hosting software and platform if I want anyone else to be able to read it. Gitlab, Forgejo, sourcehut, or something else?
Once I answer these questions, I am going to move Pandora's Tale Wiki to a git repository, and then I will ask Miraheze to shut down their copy of the wiki. I don't know how long this process will take, but I believe it's the only way I can continue the wiki.

I've been helping move the wiki for Super Animal Royale videogame out of the claws of Wikia/Fandom, and today we can finally announce the fork!

Time for a detailed #introduction :3
I am GhaztliousMoths, yes I am very aware that this is long and I very much encourage you to shorten it to however you like. Most common nicknames for myself are Ghaztly / Ghaz / Moths.
I am currently an UCA undergraduate studying #Animation ✨️ I mostly do digital 2D #art but I'm still developing my style as an #artist
I have many ocs, the 2 main ones are Owatta (purple river otter) and Ollie (brown sea otter) who are gay lovers but they're long distance because Owatta is the "chosen one" to go fight some evil.
I am also a wiki editor for a couple of #Miraheze wikis, notably Usagi Shima and Kinder World. I got introduced to Fedi by a few users on the Miraheze Discord Server.
Speaking of #usagishima I absolutely adore that game so you may see a couple of posts from me about it 😅
I like collecting merchandise and toys. Currently, I've been collecting Lizbie's Cafe's Dragon Moth pin series, 2023 Furbies, and Skylanders.
Lastly, I am planning to start a #smallbusiness in Spring later this year :D My uni has a wonderful opportunity each Winter and Spring where they host a small market for Students to sell works that they produced. For the foreseeable future, I'm only going to be selling locally. I will be posting about my progress and squealing about it haha.

There's a new poll up now:
