Pfffffft okay but what if I put the photo in first before I write the rest

Anyway the X-700 is sturdy, and fairly easy to operate with thin gloves. Best part, the split/prism finder is big, and can accommodate reading glasses very well. I was worried about being able to tell what was in focus but I do not have that worry after my walk yesterday.

And, I did get out yesterday. Managed to convince the two youngest. Got a few photos of them, and some pictures of tree bark and mushrooms growing on some dead trees.

One thing I didn’t realize about this Focal 28mm lens is that it has a really short minimum focus distance - less than a foot. I miss that. My old Canon 35mm f2 had that. The Fuji 35mm f2 falls just a little short, and it’s irritating

I started to wonder why people on photography forums just post a bunch of boring old nature posts when testing out a new camera or new type of film.

I’ve never done one of those sorts of posts, I used to just slap the film in the camera and get on with it.

So I got a new roll of film ( #kodacolor200) and I put it in a new (to me) camera ( #minoltax700 ) and I found out the reason why

Nobody else in the house gives a shit. So I guess I’m off for a walk at the nature center ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
