Report from #MinnesotaPublicRadio, "ICE detains 5-year old Minnesota boy; school leader says agents used him as ‘bait'”:

Marc Prokosch, who is a lawyer representing the family stated: "They may have the legal authority to detain a 5-year-old, but why? Just because something is legal doesn’t mean it’s #moral.”

Columbia Heights Public School District Superintendent Zena Stenvik told MPR: “Another adult living in the home was outside and begged the agents to let him take care of the small child, and was refused."….Stenvik said Liam’s family has an “active asylum case” with no deportation orders. "I have viewed the legal paperwork with my own eyes.”

#MinnesotaPublicRadio is currently playing #NightOnBaldMountain, and I just got thinking how the beginning always struck me as a bit too much in media res. There's no subtle intro depicting a climb up the mountain. The listener is already at the top, and the demons are already swarming. No idea how we got there.

And that contrasts with the ending, depicting the devils' retreat.
