Music is one of the few art forms where repetition can make something more emotional instead of less.
Play the same phrase long enough and tiny changes suddenly become enormous.
That still fascinates me.

I'm just listening on phillip glass made symphony .3. He's orchestra score have lots of low bass sound although it uses same orchestra as historical classic composers. Although I've not hear lot's of classic orchestra music, It's completely diffrenent.

@deelion Different vibes, but I've seen people classify the time signature both as 5/16 and as 10/16, so I guess that counts as unusual?

Today marks 10 years since I last saw my friend Mattia alive. She came to dinner at my place and died the day after. Her parents had a piano piece commissioned in her memory. It’s beautiful and I still listen to it often: https://youtu.be/YvITrbj2DsM

Please have a listen to this new hybrid-generative composition for piano and percussion called
"Pendulum"
I refer to it as hybrid-generative because the decision-making is in this case hybrid: the composition process includes both non-human and human choices.
Comments would be very welcome. Should you be interested in the details of the above process, please do not hesitate to ask questions. Thank you very much.
