Thank you all for sharing the link to https://minecraft.wiki -- I did find the wiki of my own searching and was like "who runs this, I hope its not another big commercial company".
The About page on the website reads "Minecraft Wiki is subject to Weird Gloop's Terms of Service" which is how I found the blog post that I shared in my initial toot.
I guess the circle is complete. Good job, everyone. 👏

Minecraft Wiki recently celebrated its 17th birthday. 17 years of an online encyclopedia has its history. The wiki changed hands many times in the past. People in the community come and go - such is life.
In the past we've shared an excellent video on Minecraft Wiki's past made by DIMM4, but did you know we have written about our history in text form as well? If you are interested in verbose description of website's history, do check it out!

As we are preparing for release of Dungeons II (https://minecraft.wiki/w/Minecraft_Dungeons_II), Minecraft Wiki community has celebrated its 17th birthday with new family photo featuring its editors!
We have also included variants of Abandoned Camps coming to Minecraft in the future.
And while Pride Month is ending, the LGBT+ community exists and fights for rights all year long.
Our community of contributors is open to everyone who does not speak the language of intolerance. :blobbee_pride: -
Announcing a new namespace for upcoming Dungeons II game!
All of the pages related to the sequel will live in separate namespace (prefix) "Dungeons II:".
Along with new namespace, as is usual for our wiki, comes its customized deep-dark theme, we hope you enjoy the theme and help us document the new game.

We've heard it all – in today's age of short form content our attention spans have shortened incredibly and it proves tedious to read the wikis.
Thankfully, tech industry has came up with solutions! We are proud to announce that we are employing our wiki mascot – Minwi, as your helpful Minecraft Support Virtual Agent, powered by the BigAI 6.7 Flash model, Minwi can now answer YOUR questions in real time!
You can reach them on any Minecraft Wiki page. Let us know what you think!

Temporary Accounts have been implemented on the #MinecraftWiki!
When you edit without creating an account, your IP address will no longer be shown, and instead you'll be given a temporary account with a random name using some Minecraft-related words, like "NetheriteSpiderCrab"!
This temporary account expires after 90 days and you'll get a new temp account if you edit again after that.
Only a few trusted users can view the IP addresses of temporary accounts where necessary to combat abuse.
