Turns out that on #Mineclonia, you can use spawnstruct to spawn a village, but not a mineshaft.

This seems unnecessarily machiavellian.

I also love #Luanti though I mainly play #Mineclonia rather than #Voxelibre. And finding mine tracks is always the highlight of every game session. Because trains. -
Well we have started playing with the Mineclonia game in Luanti. It is supposed to behave and look like MineCraft and my offspring say that it does.
It is lightweight, runs fast on a 16GB Raspberry Pi 5 and is still fast when hosting the game on the same machine.
We haven't tried it in survival mode yet but in creative mode the evil mobs are not too hard to deal with.
The next thing is to try out survival mode to see how difficult it gets.

The whole game still doesn't look pretty but I've learned with FLOSS games to ignore the looks and focus on evaluating gameplay. At least in mineclonia the default texture pack is nice

The settings menu was updated a couple of months ago, you dont have to quit a world to get to the advanced settings anymore and its more navigable.
The whole game still doesn't look pretty but I've learned with FLOSS games to ignore the looks and focus on evaluating gameplay. At least in mineclonia the default texture pack is nice

2b2t should be held accountable by the people not a faceless corporation. Microsoft isn't punishing 2b2t to fight fascism, they likely wont even do anything about this. But even if they do it will be a worrying development that microsoft has legal control over a server you run on your own hardware with your own money
This is why I play Mineclonia on Luanti because its a FLOSS project the project has no technical ability to prevent you from running a server, I have a server with a friend, most minecraft features are implemented and its very fun for us.
Reminder that microsoft bans servers/mods that put guns or adult content into the game according to their EULA, and is currently being sued for unenforceable terms of the EULA

A recent update in Luanti allows for larger structure generation, Mineclonia has finally been able to add proper nether fortresses and I think also bastions and end cities but I haven't found any on my new world yet
