Not allowing Mastodon Social users to follow who we want to follow is needlessly maternalistic. I don't need the mods to be my "mommy" and "protect" me from content THEY dislike.

The previous policy - warning users about "naughty" instances and asking to confirm a follow - worked perfectly fine.
