  1. Israel To Extend Earthquake Aid In Venezuela

In response to the official request of Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodriguez, Israel has agreed to extend earthquake aid in the South American nation by an additional two weeks, according to a news report by The Jerusalem Post.

To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the report of The Jerusalem Post. Some parts in boldface.

The Israeli aid delegation’s earthquake relief work in Venezuela will continue for an additional two weeks after interim president Delcy Rodriguez met with Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar to request the extension, the Foreign Ministry and the IDF announced on Wednesday.

The decision was approved by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

With a small delegation of only 30 people, Israeli presence in Venezuela has been focused on designing a national reconstruction plan, which Rodriguez hopes to begin implementing.

As part of the plan, the IDF began mapping and categorizing approximately 1,300 buildings on Monday, classifying them as either to be demolished or potentially salvageable despite damage.

Additionally, IDF Brig.-Gen. Elad Edri said that the IDF engineers have provided guidance to Venezuela on handling debris from damaged buildings.

‘Out of the box thinking’ as earthquake death toll rises – The multi-year plan is a major accomplishment of the Israeli delegation, and Venezuela approved it within days, rather than the weeks or months it would normally take to develop.

Edri said the severity of the disaster warranted rapid, out-of-the-box thinking.

Following the June 24 earthquake, the IDF delegation flew out of Israel on June 30 and landed in Venezuela on July 1 after multiple complex stopovers, Edri said.

He explained that, given the current chaos, other delegations who wanted to assist with the disaster have needed four to five days of travel and waiting to reach disaster-stricken sites.

Even the IDF could not fly directly into Caracas; they flew into Valencia instead and then traveled domestically to Caracas.

On Sunday, the Venezuelan Information Ministry announced that the death toll had risen to 3,342. The new tally also puts the number of injured at 16,470, while the number of homeless has risen to 17,345.

To all my readers, I encourage you to thank the Lord for this breakthrough of cooperation between Israel and Venezuela. Not so long ago during the rule of the dictator Nicolas Maduro, Venezuela was hostile towards Israel and took sides with the Palestinians. With Maduro gone (thanks to the United States under President Donald Trump’s leadership), Venezuela now has a new leader and there has been a series of changes that happened since.

As such, I encourage you all to pray to the Lord for Israel and Venezuela to become allies and willing diplomatic partners in this chaotic world we live in. Pray also to Him for the continued recovery of Venezuela whose people suffered so much not only from the recent earthquake but also from the decades-long economic deterioration under their dictators.

Always be the fearless and aggressive church of Lord Jesus!

  2. I Love Israel: Israel Donates Emergency Tents And Relief Items To Support Mindanao Earthquake Victims

The Embassy of Israel in the Philippines donated emergency tents and assorted relief items to support the communities in Mindanao who suffered from the recent earthquake that hit the region, according to the social media post of Operation Blessing Philippines. The donations were released through MASHAV. The other relief items can be seen in Operation Blessing Philippines’ social media post pictures.

To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the social media post of Operation Blessing Philippines. Some parts in boldface.

New emergency tents donated by the Embassy of Israel in the Philippines through MASHAV have been turned over to Operation Blessing to support communities affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao.

For many families who lost their homes — or have been advised not to return due to safety concerns — these tents represent more than temporary shelter. They provide protection, privacy, and a safe place to rest as communities begin to recover.

The need remains urgent across many affected areas, with families still staying in evacuation centers and makeshift shelters. This generous donation will help us reach more communities and bring a measure of comfort and dignity to those who have lost so much.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Embassy of Israel and MASHAV for standing with the people of Mindanao in this difficult time. Together, we are bringing help, hope, and healing to families in need.

To all my readers, I encourage you to thank the Lord for the very generous donation made by the Israeli Embassy with the involvement of MASHAV. For a long time now, Israel has provided relief and assistance to Filipinos in past disasters and other tragedies. No matter what the anti-Semitic and what the Islamo-Leftists say, Israel is the essential partner for the Philippines to have.

At the same time, I encourage you all to realize the truth that Israel is the land God designated specifically for the Jewish people (read Genesis 35:10-12) and His command must be followed without hesitation. If you want to be blessed further by the Lord, do so by loving and blessing the Jewish people (Genesis 12:1-3). I did my part when I was in Israel. Also, let me remind you all that the ties between the Jews and Christians are truly biblical!

I encourage you all to pray to the Lord God in support of Israel, to love and bless the Jewish people, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

If you truly believe in Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God the Heavenly Father wholeheartedly and you continue to be faithful, you should be aware that Christians are meant to stand united with Israel and love the Jewish people no matter what. You can do your part supporting Israel by donating to Christians United for Israel (CUFI). Do not forget to read the Holy Bible, then pray in tongues to the Lord in the privacy of your room with the door shut.

Always be the fearless and aggressive church of Lord Jesus!

  3. Pickup Coffee Targets Around 800 Stores By The End Of 2026

Pickup Coffee, the popular homegrown coffee chain, is aiming to have around eight hundred stores by the end of 2026, according to a news article by the Philippine News Agency (PNA). Pickup Coffee first opened in 2022 and it now has roughly five hundred branches. It continues to attract customers who love coffee.

To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the PNA news article. Some parts in boldface…

Banking on Filipinos’ love for coffee along with more affordable offerings, an official of grab-and-go coffee chain Pickup Coffee expressed confidence for continued expansion amidst the current economic challenges.

To date, the brand has around 500 coffee kiosks around the country, mostly in Metro Manila, and about a hundred stores in Mexico City.

The goal is to have around 800 stores by end-2026, Diego Lorenzo, Pickup Coffee chief executive officer and cofounder said in an interview Tuesday night.

A branch of Pickup Coffee inside Festival Mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The company is now open to franchising, with an initial investment of PHP2 million for the coffee truck’s stock, equipment and construction.

Lorenzo said they plan to open as many as 200 more company-owned stores nationwide this year, with the focus on Northern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

He said they cater to people from all walks of life, from those who can afford high-end brands but are open to cheaper options with quality offerings, to those in the C and D levels.

“The more accessible you are, the faster you will grow,” he said.

The brand has received capital from venture capitalists and Lorenzo said this is a sign of the brand’s potential to post stronger growth going forward.

Rami Chahwan, president of Pickup Coffee, said franchising will complement the existing branches, citing lessons learned over the last 48 months.

He said they have piloted 10 franchise stores over the last three months to ensure they can efficiently cater to more units once this bid is in full bloom.

Let me end this post by asking you readers: What is your reaction to this recent development? Do you think the quality of drinks and services of Pickup Coffee will be well maintained as the franchising of their business happens? Do you think Pickup Coffee will be able to grow even as the economy of the Philippines slows down? Do you think only a recession would stop Pickup Coffee’s growth? If you consumed coffee from Pickup Coffee, what can you say about the taste and quality of what was served to you?
