#Moths of the #Saturniidae are characterized by #adults that camouflage with closed wings (#mimesis), but perform a #mimicry behavior, when disturbed by presenting their #eyespots. They have stunted/fully reduced #mouthparts and reproduce only. Species of genus #Automeris live mostly in the tropics/subtropics, #caterpillars can look #colorful and #bizarre and are defensive via stinging hairs. Exples: Automeris egeus or A. niepelti. This is a video captured yesterday in Yukon, Oklahoma last high (downscaled for space)
It shows an #orb morphing into #drone #mimicry
Multiple people have witnessed these, and of course the folks who are terrified of reality dismiss these as "lol, it's a plane that appears stationary because it's flying at you"
The person who took the video lives near a flightpath to two airports, the "plane" would have to be 300-500 feet off the ground, also there is the horizontal separation, which those two "planes" are in breach.
