But also: I heard of this via Twitter, where somebody suggested that the best way to support the hero who helped to stop/mitigate a mass shooting in Colorado was to buy his merch.

And I'm a little sad that Twitter is dead, and I hope that Mastodon will step up into this gap the next time it opens.

I really wish #miltwitter would show up here.

I'm disgusted with this article listing Jester's walled garden Mastodon server as the top alternative to twitter. For crying out loud. And it makes me mad that my #miltwitter community mostly got hornswoggled by the Jester when they were looking to move from twitter and now I have lost that community because it's walled itself off.
