Los otros días veía la noticia de milpamerica y me pareció muy copado hasta que vi que es un pixelfeed... y bueno nada... no son ellos, soy yo
No me terminó nunca de agradar una red social basada en la imagen... quizá milpa sea algo que cambie eso?
No lo sé... tampoco me doy cabalmente cuenta cómo podría yo intentar lograr seguir algo de allí, ya que no se muestran los contenidos parece, o no hay tantos tampoco...
En fin, quizá tiempo al tiempo... y aguante la #milpa y otras tantas formas de simbiosis, unión

I keep thinking about a recent article in Nature by Talhelm and Dong that appears to confirm the theory that the staple crops (in this case wheat versus rice) can influence collectivistic cultural tendencies.
In particular, it makes me wonder how the #milpa impacted Indigenous North American cultures. A milpa is a #Native agroecological system largely centered around growing corn, beans and squash in the same field. It is intense, highly productive and also provides a complete and healthy diet in a very small amount of land.
I suspect that milpas lead to even more individualistic tendencies, which could explain the large linguistic and cultural diversity of North America and how it led to dense urban societies so quickly.

Je viens de mettre en place la méthode des trois soeurs au fond du potager : association courge-haricot-maïs dans la milpa amérindienne. J'y ai ajouté une structure en bambou au cas ou les maïs ne seraient pas assez costauds pour supporter les haricot rames #Permaculture #Milpa
