I view them as the self-serving hype of a #militaryIndustrialComplex which still resents the post-Cold War #PeaceDividend as a sinister assault on their god-given right to a bounty of cost-plus contracts & calendar of big military exercises.
The gleeful intensity of demands to slash social protection to fund the military demonstrate a clear moral agenda of war over social solidarity.
