I looked into the legacy of one of them in the noughties, as a citizen journalist writing for Aotearoa Indymedia. The former Ivon Watkins-Dow plant in Paritutu, Taranaki was owned by the US corporation behind Agent Orange, and manufactured agricultural variants of the poisons used in it.
