  5. The #MIGSwitch getting #NintendoSwitch2 consoles banned at a hardware level could hurt the used market for the Switch 2. If I were in the market for a Switch 2 as someone who isn't exclusively a #Nintendo gamer, a used console might make an attractive option. However, if there's a chance consoles may be banned thru no fault of future owners, then stores like Gamestop may be hesitant to even sell used consoles, and consumers will be more hesitant to buy them. More money for NIntendo I guess...

Was ist MIG Flash? MIG Flash (oder auch ‚MIG Switch‘ genannt) ist ein physisches Gerät, das es Nutzern erlaubt, […]

  17. if you want to get #technical about the #migswitch #dumping :
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53ttoD8GYJE

It uses #leaked code from one of the #nintendo leaks.

    Meaning:
This will most likely one of the last products of its kind. Luckily.

#ReverseEngineering a #gamecartreader like the #NintendoSwitch es in cleanroom conditions would be quite difficult.
(But the only way to make any leagal dumping possible)

    So yeah.
    #Pirates as always:
    Quick Buck, then hit truck.

Most systems just disable #sigpatches / #fakesign (such does the #atmosphere piracy crew when you try installing xci/nsp s.
    On #ios its the same.
    Etc etc.

This product is unique in its stupidity alone.
Let's hope Nintendo gets it under control.
But I think they'll get it.
(The dumper software will be difficult tho.
No idea what they are gonna do there)

    Anyways.
    Nice diversion.
Let's put it into a sleeve and put a plate called "Pls avoid, do not feed" near it.

  19. The important lesson of the #migswitch ?

    The #dumper tool.

    Forget the card.
You can copy any #nintendoswitch game WITH certs via that wretched software...

    The card is weird.

I got one cheap and tried if it works on my -forever offline-switch

    It works.
Having an extra button to switch makes it easier..

    ___

But having the ability to copy your collection with that software (and a #vulnerable or #modded switch ?)

    -THAT- is the real thing.

    But the backup takes forever.
Even if you copy from cartslot to external SD

    Only PLUS ?
I now can have a offsite copy of my -lemme check - 33 physical (soon 35 ?) Games.

    Oh and:
Apparantly most don't matter to me.
I backed up like 10 and then lost patience.

    This product is weird.
And I'm not sure for whom it is from.
If you thought you could "lend out" a game and play it yourself at the same time:
    Better don't .

    I dunno.

I'll shelve it as "collectors item"

#Nintendo will destroy the vendors and C&D the #migswitch team anyways.

    Bascially the #worst #flashcard ever.
Even #gateway looked better (and trust me, it sucked.. )

  24. My mig-switch arrived!
No more having to swap between cartridges anymore and I can backup my games digitally.

It doesn't seem to be particularly well suited for piracy though, since it needs very specific files dumped that -as far as I can tell- are not readily available online.

But you're encouraged to DM me if you can prove me wrong... 😉
