I am deeply saddened about the news that the german geographer Malte Steinbrink @UniPassau passed away on 4 May. He was a critical thinker and always pushed us to go to the bottom of all questions. He strongly influenced t/ debate about #translocalGeographies and #migrationStudies. My thoughts are with his family and friends, and he will be truly missed.
