Maybe some context for the cortex (what a pun😬) of why I was considering migrating to another Mastodon instance.
I started using Mastodon on the Hachyderm instance, which I enjoyed a lot. I chose this instance because I followed Kris Nóva for a while and so I knew the person behind this instance, which I valued a lot at this time.
After a while, there were a bunch of discussions (which I didn't follow in detail), and Kris Nóva finally decided to hand over the instance to a group of people who now act behind the Nivenly Foundation, which is responsible for operating the Hachyderm instance. This now was the main reason for me to switch to a different Mastodon instance: I want to "know" the people who operate the instance.
With the Cortex Implant Mastodon instance being operated by @revengeday, I have found an instance that meets this requirement. I "know" (if I really can say that?!), or rather have been following (and it seems that he also followed me, although I was not as active as he was) from the early days on Twitter, when even Twoffee (I hope I spelled this correctly :D I actually can't remember the exact spelling) was the hot shit. Good old days.
And now, here we are.
