When your 19year old nephew asks you to chaperone him and friends to a bar, because they have video games at said bar... and you tell them that there's a legit #arcade (called "the Arcade").
You're then informed that one of the <21ers parents "don't like them going downtown"
But to a bar with an unknown adult? #WTF? (I don't understand #midwesterners anymore)

A post about #NewYorkCity and #Omaha, NE, both of which have been home to me for nearly an equal amount of time.
I heard this said before, and it rings true to me.
By and large, #NewYorkers are kind but not nice, and #Midwesterners are nice but not kind.*
There are certainly outliers, and I surround myself with them for sure... but this generality applies to so many that I've met. How about you?
