Well, I had an absolutely wonderful day in London yesterday, taking in a Shakespearean double-bill.
I started off with my first visit to the main theatre at Shakespeare's Globe (having previously only been to the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse) for an excellent A Midsummer Night's Dream. Positioned right at the front of the yard, it was a real privilege to see this company, and the nuance of their performances, right up close.
